AN INTRODUCTION TO SOUND - EXPERIMENTAL MEDIA

Basquiat, J. (1982). Obnoxious Liberals.

Having read Background Noise (LaBelle, 2015) and drawn further knowledge from it about the infamous John Cage and ultimately Muzak's 'Silent Prayer' addressing self reflection - and having fair knowledge on Basquiat and his feelings towards the body as an abstract internal concept similarly to Abramovic's findings on positive and negative voids, it seemed the obvious choice to pair Obnoxious Liberals and the theme of Space.
