So by having unrelated events it should emphasise that narrative is obsolete - past and future are tools not sources of happiness and escape. The way we view time incites fear and sadness. Hopefully this film will force presence and deny viewers of narrative. Although, I'm sure many will be confused and the rather elitist concept will scare them into feeling in-superior, so in an aim to regain control they will try to make up a narrative as a form of comfort.
