HOLD (AND I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH) MY HAND
Tiger Miles (2020) still creeping on this Chelsea Fine Art student since he gave me that weird metal mask thing in 2017. The nail in the hand is a detail I could incorporate but the use of clay wouldn't be applicable because of the weight. The exposed wire, however, gives a more exciting texture and could elude to the crown of thorns.
Hugo Simberg (1896) The Garden of Death. "the flowers represent people's soul's the skeletons are aids to Death, and the Garden of Death is a purgatory of sorts for souls waiting for entrance into heaven." "Take comfort in {your} own passing, and to not fear what happens after the body fails to function." "Derived from the medieval belief that the dead sleep in a blooming garden" I like the concept but I think adding flowers to the props list could be tacky and is definitely over done.
