THAT NIGHT THAT I NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT
Below are clips from way way back when a foetal Sundara Karma described themselves as a folk-metal band and Readipop was still a valid choice for a venue. I made my FMP in foundation based on this night and the correlation between the social politics of everyone who was there that night, the haunting noises and the potential of ego death. That piece was absolute wank and I'm glad I can't find a copy of it, I then attempted to redo the concept at the end of first year (also shit, but slightly less so) featuring the new bands I was hanging around at the time. I really have never shut up about that night and the previous attempts to eternalise it into new work have not been fruitful so third time lucky, I'm hoping to work with my gaffer and editor to see how I can recreate the lighting in Noah's ark.
